This is urgent and important. The Hearing Loss Association of America- Twin Cities chapter (HLAATC) is in serious need of volunteer assistance. If volunteers do not step forward soon, the TC Chapter will have no choice but to cease operations. Note: April book club will continue for sure and we will talk about moving forward beyond that. The Twin Cities Walk4Hearing also continues as scheduled (May 16, 2026).

PRESENTATION DETAILS:

We are excited to let you know our Speaker will be Madhav Lavakare.  He is the creator and CEO of AirCaps smart glasses.  He developed an earlier version of the glasses while he was in college and continued to refine them to today’s transcribe glasses. The glasses can convert the spoken word into text on your lenses, allowing conversation in real time.  Join us to learn more about a new technology to help people with hearing loss to be more engaged in conversations.
