Synopsis: In this memoir, award-winning author Elsa Sjunneson, who identifies as Deafblind, discusses growing up and living in an ableist world. Sjunneson, also a professor and activist, explores how the misrepresentation of disability in books, movies, and TV harms both the disabled community and everyone else. Strong language, some violence, and some descriptions of sex. 2021.
