MNCDHH Focus Group Session #2 is Nov. 15 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm
As we shared earlier, the Minnesota Commission of the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing is hosting a series of focus groups to find out how the Commission can better support the local hearing loss community. The first session happened roughly a week ago (November 5th) and the second session is happening today, Monday, November 15th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The primary purposes of the focus group (according to an email from the Commission): “MNCDHH has set up focus groups to gather input from the community for three purposes: To hear from group members their needs, gaps or concerns; To get your input on our potential legislative agenda; To get your input and feedback on our strategic plan.”
The upcoming meeting is Monday, November 15th, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Our presenter is Alicia Lane-Outlaw, Government Relations Director. She will be discussing with the group the potential legislative session. Additionally, Lane-Outlaw wants to hear from the focus group on what could potentially be included in the upcoming legislative session.
If you would like to be included in the focus group, join the Zoom link below at 6:00 pm today. CART will be provided and ASL/Voice Interpreters.
Please feel free to share this with other members who you feel may be interested in this discussion.
