Vaccine Accessibility Opportunities (ongoing updates)
HLAA-TC has found out about several opportunities for COVID-19 vaccines that provide accessibility for Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing. We wanted to share the information with you; our community. More accessibility vaccine options are becoming available and we will continue to update this post and social media.

ThinkSelf in St. Paul, MN on April 22: The following is copied from an email from ThinkSelf (if you have questions it would be quickest to contact them, contact information below).
“ThinkSelf is excited to share that Ramsey County Public Health will host a small vaccine clinic at our ThinkSelf office on April 22. ASL Interpreters – including CDIs – will be available at all stations. This popup clinic is geared towards community members who identify as Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened. This site is open to all DDBHHDDLD community members – no need to be a resident of Ramsey County! TO SIGN UP, YOU HAVE THREE OPTIONS:

If you are interested in being called for leftover vaccines, or would be interested in booking a time at potential future clinics open to anyone, please contact any of the above three options and request that your name be added to the wait list.
FYI– If you sign up for the wait list for the April 22 clinic: if there are times available, we will text you no later than 6pm. Be sure to add your text number when signing up!

2. Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division is offering two locations in coordination with the Minnesota Department of Health of COVID-19 vaccine clinics primarily for deaf, deafblind, hard of hearing and late-deafened communities in both Twin Cities and Faribault regions. .Check their website for more information: https://mn.gov/deaf-hard-of-hearing/
*TWIN CITIES REGION
LOCATION: Metro Deaf School, 1125 Energy Park Drive, St. Paul, MN
DATES: Saturday, April 24 and Saturday, May 22 (for a second vaccine dose)
TIME: 9 am to 2 pm
COMMUNICATION ACCESS: Interpreters, speech-to-text apps, ProTactile and deaf interpreters will be provided.
Registration link will be posted via Division’s email and website.
* FARIBAULT REGION
LOCATION: Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf, 615 Olof Hanson Drive, Faribault, MN
DATES: Saturday, May 1 and Saturday, May 29 (for a second vaccine dose)
TIME: 9 am to 2 pm
COMMUNICATION ACCESS: Interpreters, speech-to-text apps, ProTactile and deaf interpreters will be provided.
Registration link will be posted via Division’s email and website.
*EACH SITE WILL ADMINISTER ABOUT 100 MODERNA VACCINES.*
3. Saturday, May 8th, Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf vaccine clinic is cancelled (due to low registration).

American Sign Language interpreters are available! The State Fair Grounds clinic is open to anyone with a disability, or anyone who is deaf, deafblind or hard of hearing no matter where you live in Minnesota. For details, see their ADA flyer.
