Those who have been following this blog and our announcements at our monthly meetings know that we have steadily been preparing for the “Live Well with Hearing Loss” 2020 Conference. We’ve announced various details on this blog and this is a summary. Read to the end of this post for ANOTHER announcement about the conference.

What: is hosting a “Live Well with Hearing Loss” Conference 

When: on Saturday, October 10, 2020

What: A conference with three guest speakers (Dr. Juliëtte Sterkens, Thomas Ryther and Matthew Winn, AuD., PhD.) and exhibitors (to be announced)

Where: Marriott Minneapolis West in Saint Louis Park

Now we’re announcing that Joss Kendrick™ the Girl of the Year™ will be at the “Live Well with Hearing Loss” 2020 Conference. Those who attend the conference will have a chance to bring Joss™ (the American Girl®  doll) home. We will be releasing more information about this at a later date.  American Girl® and HLAA have partnered this year to have the Girl of the Year™ represent the hearing loss community and HLAA-TC is excited to show her off.
