HLAA announces launch of new Cochlear Implant International Community of Action (CIICA)
Today, February 25, 2021, is International Cochlear Implant Day. HLAA (the national organization) announced the launch of the Cochlear Implant International Community of Action (CIICA). “CIICA is a new and innovative community of organizations, individuals and experts sharing the vision of increasing the access to cochlear implants and lifelong support for those who benefit from them. HLAA is one of the founding members of CIICA” -from the HLAA website.

The next monthly HLAA-TC chapter meeting is Saturday, March 20th, and Kristen Swan, a therapist with HealthPartners, will be speaking on “Self Care and Managing Emotions.” Please email Lionel BEFORE the meeting at treasurer@hlaatc.org in order to receive a link for the March 20th Zoom meeting. Like most meetings, social time starts at 9:30 am and Kristen Swan begins her talk at 10:00 am.
