HLAA-TC has been notified of an opportunity provided by Starkey Hearing Technologies for those struggling to afford hearing aids. Starkey Hearing Technologies is providing hearing aids at no cost. Participants must meet minimum qualifications, such as documented hearing loss, demonstrated financial need, and be a Minnesota resident with the ability to attend an in-person fitting (at the Eden Prairie headquarters of Starkey). The next monthly HLAA-TC chapter meeting is Saturday, March 20th, and Kristen Swan, a therapist with HealthPartners, will be speaking on “Self Care and Managing Emotions.” Please email Lionel BEFORE the meeting at treasurer@hlaatc.org in order to receive a link for the March 20th Zoom meeting. Like most meetings, social time starts at 9:30 am and Kristen Swan begins her talk at 10:00 am.
