One of the topics discussed in the September Zoom meeting (and mentioned in our September Meeting Roundup) was the need for members to renew their membership to HLAA-TC or for people to join if they haven’t done so already. As a non-profit organization, a strong membership is important for us to fulfill our mission. Members are encouraged to attend and vote at chapter meetings. Members may also attend Board meetings however, they may not vote on Board business.
See the graphic below for directions on renewing or joining HLAA-TC. You can find the form needed to send along with your dues on our website under the Membership tab (please print, fill out and mail in this form with your dues and mail to the indicated address). Any questions, please reach out to a board member (their contact information is also on the website).
Note: All HLAA-TC meetings are being held virtually on Zoom every third Saturday of the month (September through May). (Find instructions on using Zoom here.) All meetings are live captioned. A registration link to attend each monthly meeting will be published in that month’s corresponding HLAA-TC newsletter. Registration is free but required.
