Originally the HLAA-TC book club was meeting on Tuesday, June 28th at 7:00 pm to discuss our June nonfiction selection of “Alice: Princess Andrew of Greece” by Hugo Vickers. We have decided to postpone the meeting in hopes that we can have a special guest join us for our discussion of this book.

We will announce in the future when this book club is rescheduled.

In the meantime, Alice, the subject of this biography, was the mother of Prince Philip (husband of Queen Elizabeth) and her character is featured in an episode of Netflix’s show “The Crown.” If you have access to Netflix and are interested in checking out that episode, it is the following episode: Season 3, Episode 4, “Bubbikins.” You can read more about that episode here (author Hugo Vickers is referenced in this article).
