We announced earlier that our next virtual book club will be meeting on Thursday, November 4th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm to discuss the memoir “Invisible: My Journey Through Vision and Hearing Loss” by Ruth Silver. Now we would like to announce that Joan Schneider, Executive Director of the Center for Deaf-Blind Persons, Inc. will be joining us for our discussion. The Center for Deaf-Blind Persons, Inc. was founded by book author Ruth Silver and we will be able to talk with Ms. Schneider about Ruth Silver, her organization and her ongoing legacy.
